MP BY Raghavendra strongly criticized the Congress, claiming that if the party comes to power, anti-national forces will gain confidence and mental courage. Speaking to the media on Friday, he said that under Congress rule at both the Centre and the state, such forces feel empowered, with their thinking, slogans, and activities increasing. He cited incidents in Bhadravati, Tarikere, Sagar, and Maddur as examples.
He alleged that during festivals, some individuals shout slogans supporting other countries while consuming local food, undermining national pride. Highlighting the strategies of Prime Minister Modi against Pakistan, Raghavendra urged the government to identify and take strict action against those promoting anti-national sentiments. He emphasized that politics, religion, or party affiliations should be set aside in enforcing law and order.
Raghavendra also criticized Congress for allegedly withdrawing cases related to the KG Halli-DJ Halli and Hubballi riots, warning that such actions weaken the Hindu nation from a long-term perspective. He argued that the government’s vote-appeasement policies have led to a lack of fear of law and order, pointing to the Home Minister’s statements as evidence. He further asserted that the Chief Minister and the entire government share this mindset, which, he said, has been clearly perceived by society at large.
