Major League Cricket season 4 dates announced

New Delhi

The fourth season of Major League Cricket (MLC) will take place from June 18 to July 18, 2026, with six teams competing in 34 exciting matches. The participating teams are Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, and Washington Freedom.

The league also plans to expand by 2027, with two new teams and possible matches in Canada. Season 3 was a huge success, ending in a thrilling final where MI New York beat Washington Freedom by 5 runs. The season featured 18 team scores over 200, 7 centuries, and 5 last-ball finishes.

Johnny Grave, CEO of MLC, said the league is quickly gaining popularity in the U.S. and globally. “We’re delivering on our promise to grow the game across the USA,” he said.

American Cricket Enterprises (ACE), which owns the league, has already invested over $150 million. Their goal is to build 10 international-standard venues by 2030 to give fans better access and help local players grow.

Launched in 2023, MLC is the only ICC-sanctioned T20 league in the U.S., and it continues to break records in ticket sales, viewership, and fan engagement.
