New Court Building to be Inaugurated SoonKoppalState High Court Judge P. Sudha visited and inspected the new court complex in Yelaburga town. After touring the spacious building, she expressed appreciation for its facilities and assured that appropriate steps will be taken for its inauguration soon. She noted with pride that Yelaburga taluk has contributed hundreds of lawyers and about 28 judges to the country, highlighting that KS Swamy from the taluk served as a judge of the Madras High Court, reflecting the region’s rich legal legacy.

Bar Association President Subhas Hombala said the new building is nearly complete and the pending work will be finished shortly. He urged that the Bar Association’s various demands be addressed, including special reservation for the Kalyana Karnataka region in civil judge appointments, laying the foundation for a lawyers’ building, and ensuring all necessary facilities for the new court.

Association Secretary T. Mahantesh requested that, since the Yelaburga Court provides a suitable environment for establishing an additional district court, judges at different levels should hold discussions and make an appropriate decision. Senior Advocate C.S. Banappagowda and others also spoke. District Senior Judge C. Chandrashekar, Senior Judge J. Rangaswamy, Junior Judge Sanjeev Kumar, Additional Government Advocate Mallanagowda Patil, Bar Association office bearers, and several others were present.
