For a long time, the Koppal Municipal Council has been attempting to address the problem of garbage being dumped along roadsides across the city. Various initiatives were undertaken to promote cleanliness and discourage littering among residents. Authorities installed signboards at key locations, urging people not to throw waste in public areas. In addition, creative efforts such as decorating garbage-prone spots with rangoli designs were implemented to raise awareness and encourage civic responsibility.
