ACB Raid on DC office, Dep. Tehsildar caught red-handed

ACB raid breaks out tension at Bengaluru’s District Commissioner office. Deputy Tahsildar Mahesh and Clerk Chand, who were on duty along with District Collector Manjunath, were caught red-handed while receiving Rs 5 lakh bribe.
The raid has been led by DySP Ravishankar of the ACB. The ACB trapped the complaint filed by Azam Pasha. The AC Court has ruled in relation to the land and transferred it to the DC Court. Fifteen lakhs were demanded to clear this case file. ACB officials have been trapped if they receive a bribe of Rs 5 lakh out of a fortnight.
The ACB is conducting investigations on the basis of demand, work pending and acceptance. ACB officials are currently investigating Subhashildar Mahesh and Clerk Chandru. DC Manjunath’s role in the bribery case is also being examined.
