Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has completed the recruitment process for Junior Station Attendant and Junior Powerman posts, following a transparent and efficient counseling procedure held on December 10 and 11, 2025, at the KPTCL Officers’ Association Building in Bengaluru.
Over the two-day event, 448 candidates received their appointment orders directly from senior officials of the corporation. The counseling program was monitored by the Administration and Human Resources Department, ensuring adherence to procedural integrity throughout the process.
The entire counseling workflow was facilitated through specialized software developed by KPTCL’s Information and Technology wing. According to the selection list published on the corporation’s website, a total of 491 candidates were shortlisted. Of these, 448 have already been issued appointment orders, while the remaining candidates will receive theirs upon submission and verification of caste validity certificates and reservation documents.
The recruitment drive attracted participants from across Karnataka, including ex-servicemen, hearing-impaired candidates and aspirants from the Kalyana Karnataka region. As stipulated in the employment notification dated October 14, 2024, selection was based on merit determined by 10th standard marks, subject to qualification in the endurance test conducted in May 2025. The process saw overwhelming interest, with more than 70,000 applicants applying statewide.
