Prabhas Heads to Japan for Baahubali: The Epic Premiere

Prabhas is set to visit Japan to attend the premiere of the remastered Baahubali: The Epic, fulfilling a promise to his loyal Japanese fans. The special screenings are scheduled for December 5 and 6, ahead of the theatrical release on December 12, 2025. The actor has taken a short break from shooting his upcoming film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, to be part of the international event.

Baahubali: The Epic celebrates a decade of the Baahubali franchise, combining and remastering the 2015 and 2017 films directed by SS Rajamouli. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda will also accompany Prabhas for the Japanese premieres. During the visit, Prabhas will engage with fans, honoring a commitment he had made earlier this year during Kalki 2898 AD promotions.

On the work front, Prabhas continues shooting Spirit, with key scenes featuring Triptii Dimri already filmed. He will resume the schedule immediately after the Japan trip. In addition, he is preparing for the release of his horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, and will be working on Hanu Raghavapudi’s action-war drama Fauzi. The Japan premiere underscores Prabhas’s massive overseas appeal and the global resonance of the Baahubali franchise.
