Bus carrying school children overturns, 11 injured

In an incident that occurred in the city on Tuesday night where a bus belonging to North-West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation carrying school children on a trip overturned.
Due to the carelessness of the driver, the bus overturned after hitting the divider. City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar informed that 11 of the 36 children in the bus were injured and admitted to a local hospital.
The children of Shantiniketan School in Khanapur, Belgaum district had come on a trip to Mysuru. The incident took place while returning from sightseeing. The police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. The injured children were admitted to KR Hospital and Manipal Hospital. Seema Latkar said that everyone was saved from danger and there is no need to fear. A case has been registered at Narasimharaja Traffic Police Station.
