Condemning former minister Kalakappa Bandi’s act of rage against Gajendragad Tahsildar, the government employees submitted a memorandum to the government.
Ravi Gunjikar, Vice-President of Karnataka State Government Employees’ Association, said that Bandi insulted Tahsildar Kiran Kumar Kulkarni during a BJP protest over waqf entry in farmers’ RTCs. Bandi used singular words in front of the public and obstructed the Tahsildar from discharging his duties effectively, he alleged.
Another office bearer Basavaraj Ballari said that offenders should be prosecuted and the government should provide adequate security to employees. Other Association functionaries Srinivasamurthy Kulkarni, VM Hiremath, SR Bandi, and DT Walmiki were present at the protest. They submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Govind Raddi.
In Gajendragad, Assistant Commissioner M Gangappa said that politicians should behave politely with officials. He said he would bring the incident to the notice of Deputy Commissioner Govind Raddi for further action.

Employees of 32 departments in Gajendragad alleged that they were irked by the behaviour of former minister Bandi.  He always threatens us, demanding to work as per his instructions and intervenes in all routines, they added.
Officials PB Shingri, Umesh Araligidad, PB Malipatil, KY Swami, Harish Badakudari, and Nagappa Dummal were present at the protest.
