“Ambulances for Animals will be launched in the city on May 7,” said Prabhu Chavan, Minister of Animal Husbandry. Inspecting the traffic veterinary clinic in Vikasa Soudha, he held meeting with the authorities about ambulance inauguration program.
On May 7, State government ministers, including the Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Purushottam Roopala, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai, Revenue Minister R. Ashok, Housing Minister Somanna and Cooperative Minister ST Somashekhar, on May 7, were presented with a green light by 27 ministers. Minister Prabhu Chavan has informed that the service will be launched.
The state government has provided 275 veterinary ambulance to provide emergency services under the central government’s Livestock Health and Disease Control Program grant from 2021-2022, of which 70 completed veterinary vehicles are being used for livestock services.
The livestock livelihood program has been implemented with equipped surgical vehicles for livestock protection, care and health care to facilitate farmers, livestock breeders. Prabhu Chavan claims that the next part of this is a travel veterinary treatment vehicle.
