Awareness on ill effects of alcohol and drugs, important: Ayub Khan

Awareness about the dangers of alcohol and drugs was emphasized by Ayub Khan, the Chairman of the Karnataka Exhibition Authority. During the inauguration of an awareness shop set up by the Karnataka State Beverages Corporation, he noted the importance of informing the public and students about these issues.
The awareness stall was opened in the Karnataka Exhibition Authority to educate students and the public about the harmful effects of alcohol and drugs. The stall is intended to provide information that can help combat addiction. The messages displayed in the stall, including quotes from notable figures like Mahatma Gandhi, aim to promote responsible behavior and reduce harmful habits.
Visitors to the stall during Mysore Dasara were encouraged to share the information with family, friends, and neighbors. This sharing is seen as a way to raise awareness about the negative impacts of alcohol and drugs on families and society as a whole.
On this occasion, a book and pamphlet were released by Ayub Khan, which were published by the Karnataka State Beverages Corporation. The materials are designed to further educate the public about the ill effects of alcohol and drugs.
The event was attended by Karnataka State Beverages Corporation Secretary Mahesh, Assistant Director of the Information and Public Relations Department Harish, and other officials.
