In another wolf attack in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, a 13-year-old boy named Armaan Ali was bitten while sleeping on his terrace. The incident occurred on Sunday night in Pipri Mohan village. Armaan sustained neck injuries and was initially treated at a local health center before being moved to Bahraich Medical College for further care.
This attack is part of a series of wolf-related incidents in the region. On the same day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited affected families in Sisaiya Churamani village. He assured them that the government is taking strong measures to ensure their safety and promised continued efforts to address the crisis.
A pack of six wolves has been terrorizing 50 villages, causing the deaths of 10 children and one woman, and injuring 51 others. The Uttar Pradesh government has launched Operation Bhediya to capture the last wolf, believed to be the pack’s leader, with over 165 forest personnel and 18 shooters involved in the search.
