Former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar criticized former Deputy Chief Minister and JJP Chief Dushyant Chautala’s recent statement about not aligning with the BJP again. Khattar responded with, Who invited him? and expressed strong confidence that the BJP will win the upcoming Haryana assembly election and secure a third consecutive term under his leadership.

Khattar predicted a significant victory for the BJP, saying, We will set a new record by forming the government for the third time under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He dismissed Chautala’s claim, which was made in an interview with sources, where Chautala insisted that the JJP would not join forces with the BJP for the next assembly polls and asserted that the JJP would become a key player in Haryana’s political landscape.

Chautala also commented on his party’s performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, viewing the setback as an opportunity rather than a crisis. He maintained that the JJP would be a major political force moving forward.

In response to Chautala’s remarks, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini suggested that the Congress aims to undermine the JJP and urged Chautala to remain resilient. Saini also advised Chautala to avoid aligning with Congress leader Deepender Hooda, expressing confidence that the BJP will secure a clear majority in the upcoming assembly election. The Haryana Assembly elections are set for October 1, with results expected on October 4.
