Actor Suniel Shetty has kicked off filming for the second season of the action thriller series Hunter. He recently shared a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram, re-posting a story from director Prince Dhiman that featured the series’ clapboard.
In the first season of Hunter, Suniel stars as A.C.P. Vikram Sinha, with Esha Deol, Rahul Dev, Barkha Bisht, and other notable actors in key roles. The series, consisting of eight episodes, is produced by Yoodlee Films (Saregama India Limited) and directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra.
Suniel has several other exciting projects on the horizon. He’s set to appear in The Legend of Somnath, which is currently awaiting final VFX work. He’ll also feature in Welcome to the Jungle, the third film in the popular Welcome franchise, and a new show called Nanda Devi with Lionsgate, rumored to be an intense thriller.
Throughout his extensive career, Suniel has appeared in classics like Dilwale, Mohra, Gopi Kishan, and Hera Pheri. Fans are particularly eager to see him reunite with Akshay Kumar in Welcome to the Jungle, scheduled for release on December 20, 2024. This film follows the success of its predecessors Welcome and Welcome Back, with Akshay Kumar sharing the news on his birthday with a special promo.
