Director Santhakumar, known for his Kollywood hits ‘Mounaguru’ and ‘Magamuni,’ has previously worked as an assistant director on Vikram-starring films like ‘Dhill’ and ‘Dhool.’ According to source, Santhakumar has recently pitched a new story to Vikram, and the actor seems interested. This potential collaboration could mark Vikram’s 63rd project.
Vikram is currently focused on his upcoming film ‘Thangalaan,’ directed by Pa Ranjith and set for release on August 15. This period action drama features Vikram, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan, and Parvathi Thiruvothu in key roles, with music composed by GV Prakash. The film’s promotional activities have begun, and the first single has already been released.
In addition, Vikram is working on ‘Veera Dheera Sooran,’ directed by SU Arun Kumar, known for ‘Chittha.’ The film, which stars Vikram alongside Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, also features music by GV Prakash. The second schedule of shooting for this film is currently underway.
