The 3rd edition of the NRAI Summit, held at The LaLit Ashok, concluded as a resounding success, drawing over 1,000 participants nationwide to the premier food industry event.
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar inaugurated the summit with the traditional lighting of the lamp, emphasizing the dynamic nature of the hospitality sector. He pledged government support to bolster the industry’s growth.
The Cloud Kitchen & Food Delivery Summit, an annual fixture, united industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the food delivery ecosystem. This year’s theme focused on the convergence of technology and sustainability in food delivery, spotlighting innovations from cutting-edge tech solutions to eco-friendly packaging. Sriharsha Majety, CEO and founder of Swiggy, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the role of sustainability and environmental consciousness in shaping the industry’s future.
Throughout the summit, panel discussions engaged restaurant owners on diverse topics such as branding and packaging, the introduction of ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce), emerging food delivery cuisines, the competitive landscape for order acquisition, and the disruptive potential of AI in the food business. Participants exchanged insights drawn from their daily operational experiences.
The event culminated in “The Food Fight,” a session dedicated to fundraising strategies for cloud kitchens, underscoring the sector’s investment potential and growth prospects.
