Notification For K’taka Teacher Eligibility Test Preparation

The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 (KARTET-24) is scheduled for June 30 at various city examination centers. Additional Deputy Commissioner Siddalinga Reddy has directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements for the exam’s smooth conduct. In a meeting held at the district administration office hall, preparations were discussed on Wednesday. Paper-1 will take place from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and Paper-2 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, across 11 and 17 examination centers respectively. A total of 2,874 candidates will appear in the morning session and 4,676 in the afternoon.
All examination proceedings will be videotaped, and CCTV functionality at the centers will be verified due to the rainy season. Officials must check room conditions beforehand and ensure basic amenities like drinking water are available. Notice boards will display registration numbers, room and floor details on multiple sides to prevent crowding. Instructions were given to support visually impaired and differently abled candidates. All assigned staff are instructed to strictly follow guidelines for a successful exam administration.
Deputy Director of Public Education Department Parameshwarappa also addressed the meeting, attended by DIET Principal Basavaraj, Education Officer Lokeshappa, and other examination staff.
