In a tragic incident near Parappana Agrahara’s Kudlu, a man was brutally murdered with a club in an under-construction building.
The victim, 37-year-old Krishnaji Rao, was killed at Sai Meadows Layout in Kudlu village. Police are searching for Shivakumar, the son of Rajeswari, who committed the crime and is currently absconding.
Rajeswari, who was estranged from her husband, had been in an illicit relationship with Krishnaji Rao for several years. The couple posed as husband and wife and worked as masons at the construction site, living together with Rajeswari’s son, Shivakumar.
Recently, Krishnaji Rao had been coming home drunk every day and assaulting Rajeswari. Both Rajeswari and her son Shivakumar were fed up with the abuse. Last evening, an intoxicated Krishnaji Rao returned and started a fight with Rajeswari, assaulting her. At this point, Rajeswari’s son Shivakumar intervened and struck Krishnaji Rao on the head with a club.
Rajeswari reportedly urged her son. Shivakumar then repeatedly hit Krishnaji Rao on the head and face with the club, killing him.
Upon learning of the incident, Parappana Agrahara police arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection, registered a case, and are currently investigating.
