Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is on a tour of Bengaluru Rural district on Thursday. Under the Greater Bengaluru project, he intends to construct a township on the route of the Suburban Outer Ring Road (STRR).
In order to prevent the congestion of heavy vehicles coming to Bengaluru city and to construct townships on the outskirts of Bengaluru, the suburban Outer Ring Road is being constructed on the outskirts of Bengaluru city, strr kamagari is going on on the outskirts of Bengaluru city including Ramanagara, Magadi, Dabaspet, Doddaballapura, Devanahalli, Hosakote, Anekal, Kanakapura, etc.
The Deputy CM along with a team of officials on Thursday conducted a site inspection, inspected two places near Doddaballapura, Lakkur in Dabaspet and Nandagudi township in Hosakote, during which he reviewed the blueprint of the proposed project area.
The aim of the government is to make Bengaluru a Greater Bengaluru and to build new townships along the route of the Satellite Ring Road to provide necessary infrastructure, road, rail connectivity, etc. It is our dream to make Bengaluru the best city in the world.’
