Speaking to source here on Tuesday, Hooda said, Congress’ vote percentage has increased by about 20 per cent. This is a clear indication that people have made up their minds to bring a Congress government. We have an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party at the national level and not at the state level.

Earlier on Monday, Bhupinder Singh Hooda also spoke after a party meeting and said, the legislative party has passed the resolution, and thanked the people of Haryana & the senior leadership. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha tally in Haryana dropped from a perfect 10 to just five.

In the Congress meeting, we have expressed our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the people of the state. Today in this election, the Congress party has not only won 5 Lok Sabha seats, but if the Congress party has received the highest percentage of votes anywhere in the whole of India, it is in Haryana, Deepender Hooda said on Monday.
