Nitish Not Going Along Well With BJP; Bihar To Witness Something Major: Tejashwi Yadav

Patna

Tejashwi Yadav, a leader of the RJD, anticipated significant developments in Bihar after the Lok Sabha results, as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appeared to be at odds with ally BJP. Yadav, who lost his Deputy CM post when Kumar rejoined the NDA in January, made this assertion while speaking with journalists.

I predicted something big after the Lok Sabha polls, and since then, Uncle Nitish hasn’t been campaigning, Yadav remarked, referring to his earlier claim. He noted the Governor’s meetings and directives, suggesting disunity between the BJP and JD(U) on the election front.

All these signs confirm my suspicion that Bihar will witness something significant after June 4, Yadav stated. Interestingly, despite Kumar’s departure from the ‘Mahagathbandhan,’ Yadav has avoided directly criticizing him.

During the elections, Yadav attempted to capitalize on the NDA’s internal strife. He claimed that Kumar, despite ill-health preventing a visit to Varanasi, wanted the BJP to lose and expressed support for Yadav’s efforts.

Yadav, campaigning despite a spinal injury, proudly mentioned addressing 251 election meetings. He predicted a strong victory for the ‘INDIA bloc,’ foreseeing over 300 seats, and suggested that Prime Minister Modi would be defeated by poverty, price rise, and unemployment.
