Union Minister Anurag Thakur criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that someone who had numerous failed attempts should not mislead the country with lies. Thakur accused Congress of disrespecting Dr. Ambedkar by repeatedly amending the Constitution, totaling 62 times. He also recalled an incident where Rahul Gandhi allegedly tore down an ordinance during his tenure.

Contrasting this, Thakur praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his adherence to the Constitution and his focus on schemes benefiting marginalized communities. He urged Rahul Gandhi to refrain from spreading falsehoods.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Amit Shah condemned Congress for attempting to instill fear by claiming that a neighboring country possesses atomic bombs. Shah reaffirmed India’s stance on Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), asserting that it belongs to India and vowed to reclaim it.

Speaking at a rally in support of BJP candidate Anurag Thakur, Shah highlighted the upcoming polls in Himachal Pradesh, scheduled for June 1. The elections will not only decide Lok Sabha representatives but also fill vacant assembly seats due to resignations and party switches. BJP aims to replicate its 2019 success in the state.
