In the city, voting took place at various polling booths where prominent figures exercised their voting rights. MLC Prakash Rathod and his family, along with Director of Medical Education Dr. BL Sujatha, cast their votes at Booth No. 104 and 102 of Government Kannada Girls Senior Primary School and Maratha School for Boys. Revanasiddeshwar of Inchageri Math voted at Madhavananda High School in Inchageri village, emphasizing the importance of voting.

MLC Sunil Gowda Patil visited polling booth number 46 at Samanwaya English Medium Primary School to vote. He expressed confidence in Congress candidate Raju Alagur’s victory, stating the people’s desire for change in the district. Minister Shivananda Patil also cast his vote and addressed the media at the Vijayapura City polling station.

Congress candidate Samyukta Patil, daughter of Minister Shivananda Patil, cast her vote in the city. She sought blessings from her great uncle Shivsharangowda Patil, who was present. These events signify the democratic process in action, with citizens exercising their right to choose their representatives.
