During the upcoming Second PUC examinations in Karnataka, students will benefit from free transportation provided by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and BMTC. The corporations have decided to allow students to travel for free on city, suburban, regular, and express buses by presenting their secondary PUC examination admit card. This service aims to facilitate students’ travel from their homes to the designated examination centers and back.

Supplementary exams for second PUC students are scheduled to commence on April 29. As some students are required to take their exams at centers other than their own institutions, the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board has requested free transportation for these students. This request was communicated to the transport corporations through a letter from the Chairman of the Board.

In response to this request, appropriate notices have been issued to all drivers and administrators of the corporations. They have been instructed to allow second PUC students to travel to their designated examination centers and return home, provided they present their examination admit cards. On the examination dates, all route detours to the examination centers will be in operation. Additional adjustments may be made based on operational needs. Additionally, if students or parents request a stop near the examination centers, it will be accommodated. Drivers have been instructed to treat students with courtesy in such instances.
