Rap Song Highlights Importance Of Voting To The Youth

In the midst of the 2024 Lok Sabha election season, the ‘Madhyama Aneka’ organization has unveiled the “Vote Namma Power” rap song. “India, the world’s largest democracy, is gearing up for a universal election, and it’s ourforemost duty to advocate for voting rights. Shaping the glorious future of India lies in all our hands through voting. The intention is to celebrate the festival of democracy with a message-filled rap song, awakening the youth and motivating them to participate in the electoral process,” Aravind Murthy, the CEO of Madhyama Aneka said.

On the need for the song, director Raj Gopi said, “This rap song might resonate well with first-time voters. It’s crucial for the youth to actively engage in voting. We have incorporated some constitutional aspects regarding voting into this song. Today’s youth is particularly fond of rap songs, and through this, we aim to raise awareness about voting.”

The song features a large number of highly talented youngsters who have sung, danced, performed and featured in the video appealing every Indian to celebrate and exercise their power. The music is composed by Karthik Sharma, sung by Aishwarya Rangarajan and Rakesh Adiga for the lyrics penned by Anu Murthy. Talented actors such as Thejaswini Sharma, Smile GuruRakshith, Brinda Prabhakar Abhay have meticulously portrayed the expressions of the song through highly energetic hook steps beautifully choreographed by Ananya Amar. Young celebrities have grooved to the hook steps in the cameo appearances, enriching the message and intent. Naveen Shankar, Neethu Vanajakshi,Karthik Mahesh, Tanisha Kuppanda, Saaniya Iyer, Sagar Puranik, Niranjan Deshpande, Chandana Anathakrishna and many more celebrities have featured in the video. Aravind Muthy, the CEO of Madhyama Aneka has been the creative head behind this initiative.
