Prithviraj Sukumaran-Starrer ‘The Goat Life’ Crosses Rs 100 Cr Mark Globally

The movie The Goat Life, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has made more than Rs 100 crore in total earnings worldwide, as announced by the creators on Saturday. Directed by Blessy, the film is based on the popular 2008 book Aadujeevitham by Benyamin and hit theaters on March 29.

According to a press release from the makers, the film reached the Rs 100 crore milestone within nine days of its release. It tells the true story of Najeeb (played by Sukumaran), a Malayali laborer who becomes a goat herder in Saudi Arabia.

Blessy expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to the movie, hoping it will continue to reach more people worldwide. He mentioned the dedication of the team, who worked tirelessly for over a decade to bring the story to life.

Sukumaran, who distributed the film in Malayalam through Prithviraj Productions, celebrated its success on Instagram, thanking everyone for the unprecedented achievement.

The Goat Life, produced by Visual Romance, also stars Amala Paul, K.R. Gokul, as well as Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby. A R Rahman and Resul Pookutty, both Academy Award winners, provided the music and sound design, respectively.
