MP Prajwal Revanna filed his nomination papers as the JD(S)-BJP alliance candidate for the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday.
Prajwal Revanna, who arrived at the District Election Officer’s office along with MLAs A Manju, CN Balakrishna and HP Swarup, filed nomination papers. Former Minister HD Revanna, who had gone to worship, came running barefoot to the Election Officer’s office late.
Earlier, Prajwal Revanna offered pooja to Mavinakere Ranganathaswamy, received blessings. His grandfather, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, who was in Haradanahalli, signed as Indicator and Prajwal Revanna got blessings from him.
Prajwal, who submitted his nomination simply because it was an auspicious day, will again file another set of nomination papers on April 4 along with his supporters to show the strength.
