After the most impressive Dileep starrer film ‘Kammara Sambhavam’, the team Rathish Ambat and Murali Gopy is yet again teaming up for the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Theerpu’. Recently in an interview with an online media channel, the writer-actor Murali Gopy spilled beans about the film ‘Theerpu’.
Murali Gopy said that ‘Theerpu’ will be a complete experimental mainstream film that comes under the genre ‘Allegory’. He also added that the film will also be an entertainer.
For the unversed, ‘Allegory’ is a fictional narrative that conveys a meaning which is not explained in the story narrative. Several notable early writers such as Plato, Cicero, Apuleius, and Augustine have made use of the Allegory in their works.
Previously, the makers unveiled an intriguing title poster for the film ‘Theerpu’, and the expectation levels are high among the audience, considering the amount of talented cast and crew in the film.
‘Theerpu’ will see Prithviraj and Indrajith Sukumaran sharing screen space after a long gap. The film also features the actors Isha Talwar, Saiju Kurup, and Hannah Reji Koshy in pivotal roles.
‘Kammara Sambhavam’ was the directorial debut of Rathish Ambat and the script was penned down by Murali Gopy. Although the Dileep starrer didn’t make much impact in the theatres, ‘Kammara Sambhavam’ gained cult status after it was digitally released. The film had a very different and unique narrative that focused on spoof elements.
‘Kammara Sambavam’ also featured the actors Siddharth, Namitha Pramod, Bobby Simha, Shwetha Menon, Vijayaraghavan, Siddique, Manikuttan, and Indrans.
