Malavika Jayaram, daughter of veteran actor Jayaram and sister of actor Kalidas Jayaram, recently spoke about why she never entered films. At the muhurat pooja of Aashakal Aayiram, where her father and brother are acting together, Malavika said marriage was not the reason she stayed away from acting.
“I never considered acting, even before I got married. So marriage wasn’t a factor,” she clarified. Instead, Malavika chose a different path. She pursued modeling and completed her Master’s in Sports Management from the UK. She attended the event with her husband, Navaneeth, a Chartered Accountant in the UK.
On her father and brother acting together again after years, Malavika said, “They create a special magic on screen. Even at home, they share a great combination.” She fondly recalled their earlier film Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum and said the bond still shines today.
Jayaram, who made a strong comeback with the hit Abraham Ozler, was last seen in the Tamil movie Retro. With Aashakal Aayiram, fans are excited to see the beloved father-son duo back on screen, while Malavika remains happy cheering them on from the sidelines.
