Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s life is an inspiration to all. Ambedkar fought for the downtrodden Dalits throughout his life and strongly believed in gender equality, said Minister for Silk, Youth Empowerment and Sports Dr Narayanagowda.
He was speaking at the Ambedkar Jayanthi programmed organised at Ambedkar Bhavan.
The ideals of such great leaders are still a guide today. Our government is functioning as per the wishes of Ambedkar. Sab Ka Saath Sub Ka Ka Vikas aims to improve the development of all. Government benefits should reach the last person of society and the state government is giving priority for this, Narayana Gowda said.
MLA Srinivas, Deputy Commissioner S Ashwathi, SP Yatish, City Corporation president Manju, KADA president Shivalingaiah, Dr Siddaramaiah and leaders of Dalit organizations and others participated.
