The Railways has given good news for those who are wondering how to reach their hometowns in the wake of the Diwali festival. In view of the expectation that more passengers will reach their hometowns during the festival, three special trains will run on the Hubballi – Bengaluru – Mangalore route.
Shri Siddharuda Swamiji Special Express Train No. 07353 will depart Hubballi Junction at 4 pm on October 17 and reach Bengaluru Yeshwanthpur at 11.25 pm. It will reach Mangalore at 11.15 am on October 18.
Train No. 07354 will depart Mangalore Junction at 2.35 pm on October 18 and reach Yeshwantpur at 11.25 pm.
Train No. 06229 will depart from Bengaluru at 12.15 pm on October 19 and reach Mangalore at 11.15 am.
Mangalore – Bangalore Cantonment train number 06230 will depart Mangalore at 2.35 pm on October 19 and reach Bangalore at 12.30 am.
Bantwal, Kabakaputtur, Subramanya Road, Sakleshpur, Hassan, Channarayapatna, Kunigal, Yeshwantpur, Tumkur, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Haveri are the major stopping stations.
The special trains will have 4 General Coach, 10 Sleeper Coach, 2 Third class A, 1 Second Class AC, 1 First Class / Cabin AC.
These special trains will be a real convenience for those who come to their hometowns during the festival and participate in the festive celebrations with their families. The department has advised that tickets should be booked in advance and people should take advantage of this train.
