Chennai

State Chief Minister MK Stalin emphasized that Rs 5500 crore worth of temple property has been recovered under the DMK-led Dravidian model government in response to recent claims made by Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman that temple properties in Tamil Nadu are being stolen and sold abroad.

Stalin added, if they have devotion, they should be grateful to the DMK government for regaining these properties, during a speech at this event. Nevertheless, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu claimed that their devotion was only a daytime act meant to trick people.

On Monday, Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman claimed that items taken from temples are being sold overseas. Who is making the money off of these sales is unknown to us. We are aware, nevertheless, that our belongings are being taken and subsequently shown in exhibitions abroad.

Additionally, Stalin claimed that a retired police officer had made a false statement on his official social media pages stating, we don’t need the votes of Hindus. I’ve filed a complaint about him.

I bring this up because there are attempts to discredit and overthrow this government based on the Dravidian model. The chief minister said, I appeal to you all to use the upcoming election and teach them a lesson.
