In a tragic incident, an 86-year-old man suffered a fatal heart attack while casting his vote during the Bangarpet TPCMS administrative board elections on Sunday. The deceased, identified as Huugala Seenappa of Kanimbele village in Bangarpet taluk, had cast two out of eight votes in the ‘B’ category and was heading to another polling booth to continue voting when he collapsed near the booth. The incident occurred at the Model Kannada School polling station in Bangarpet town. Seenappa is survived by three children, including CPI Anjanappa. His sudden death cast a pall of grief over the polling venue.
