Kumbalagud Gram Panchayat President Mati son Ramakrishna expressed the opinion that by teaching Kannada language to pro-speakers, the glory of Kannada should be uplifted. Speaking after hoisting the flag at the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava program organized in collaboration with Gram Panchayat and Government Senior Primary School and High School in the premises of Government High School of Kumbalagudu village of Yeshavantpur Assembly Constituency, he said that there are many people who speak Kannada out of shyness to speak Kannada to people who are shy to use Kannada language in urban areas. He said that the importance of language needs to be conveyed. We all have the responsibility to teach and cultivate Kannada language to the foreign speakers who have come to Karnataka seeking employment from other states, there are many people in Bangalore city who forget our language and try to speak in their own language. Kumbalagud Gram Panchayat Ex-President Chikka Raju, Venkate Gowda, Narasimhamurthy, Vice President Gopalakrishna, Ex-Vice President Yashodhamma, Devaraju, Srinivas, BJP Shakti Kendra President Nanje Gowda, Anees, Aneef, Prakash, P.D.O.Basavaraju.GB. Secretary Balasubrahmanya, tailors Satish, Manju, Rajesh and others were present.
