The Indian Army, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police and intelligence agencies, successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt from across the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, which took place on October 21, involved alert troops stationed along the LoC in Uri sector. Contact was established with the infiltrating terrorists, leading to a firefight. During the operation, six pistols and four hand grenades were recovered from the infiltrators. As of the latest report, the operation is still in progress. The Indian Army remains vigilant and proactive in preventing infiltrations and maintaining security along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.
