From October 20 to 26 and subsequently on November 4, 9, and 12, parking restrictions will be in place from 7 am to 11 pm along key thoroughfares, including Queens Road, MG Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Central Street, Cubbon Road, St. Marks Road, Museum Road, Kasturaba Road, Dr. BR Ambedkar Road, Lavelle Road, Vittal Mallya Road, and Nripatunga Road. The city traffic police earnestly appeal to the public to cooperate with these parking restrictions. Alternative parking arrangements have been made on the first floor of Kings Road, the UB City parking lot, and the Shivajinagar BMTC bus station to facilitate vehicle parking. To streamline traffic and provide convenience, designated drop and pickup points have been established. Passengers arriving in cabs can avail of these facilities on Kabban Road, while those using auto-rickshaws will find a suitable point near the Cubbon Park metro station. In addition to these measures, an enhanced bus system has been put in place to facilitate transportation to and from the stadium. The new routes include services from Chinnaswamy Stadium to various destinations, including Kadugodi Bus Stand, Sarjapur, Electronic City, Jayadeva Hospital, Bannerghatta National Park, Kengeri, Popular Township via Magadi Road, Nelamangala, Yalahanka 5th Stage, RK Hegde Nagar Yelahanka, Bagaluru via Hennur Road, and Hoskote via Tin Factory route. These additional bus services are expected to cater to the increased demand during the cricket matches, ensuring that spectators can enjoy the event with ease.
