Addressing a press conference at the Congress office in the city on Wednesday, he said that MP Pratap Simha is afraid of defeat. This is the reason why they are holding the feet of those who have seen it. MP Pratap Simha will lose the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 3 lakh votes. Survey reports have also said this. MP Pratap Simha will lose 100 percent in the Lok Sabha elections this time.

BJP and JD(S) should understand the Cauvery water issue. It does not come under the purview of the State Government. It is not right to criticise the State government  and capitalise on that content. The four reservoirs do not come under the purview of the State Government. It comes under the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. We have stopped pumping water. The Centre should pay attention to this and farmers should be compensated. If the Centre is concerned about farmers, let them speak the reality.

We have 25 MPs, they are not saying anything about it. They have not even had a discussion on this.  Let them appeal to the central government in this regard. They are not raising their voice against the Centre on this issue.  Why is Sumalatha not taking care of the people of Mandya,   M Laxman attacked the BJP MPs.
