Suriya and Sudha Kongara to collaborate yet again for a biopic

Actor Suriya has been on a spree of delivering movies that are based on true and real events. His last three films – ‘Soorarai Pottru’, ‘Jai Bhim’ and ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ were all a huge success after being adapted from true incidents.
His upcoming film with director Vetrimaaran titled ‘Vaadivaasal’ is also a movie adapted from the Tamil novel written by CS Chellapa. The test shooting for the film was held last month in Chennai at ECR and the film will reportedly go on grounds from July 2022.
Meanwhile, in an interview with a regional channel, director Sudha Kongara reportedly said that she will again be reuniting with Suriya for a new film. In the interview she added that their next film will be a biopic and it will be an adaptation from a true story. The director however did not reveal as to whose biopic the movie will be about.
Suriya also has a set of movies lined up with director Bala and Siva. There has been no official announcement yet regarding Sudha Kongara – Suriya movie and it is expected that it will begin after all the signed projects that Suriya has now.
