The Kukanur main market will begin e-tendering for notified agricultural produce from August 24. The tender will be conducted every Monday and Friday, except government holidays. Farmers can enter their produce lots between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm, followed by price submission until 1.30 pm. Tender opening and price announcements will take place after 1.30 pm. The system aims to help farmers secure competitive prices for their produce. The Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee has urged farmers to bring their produce to the market and participate widely. Licensed brokers and buyers have also been asked to participate and support the process, officials said.
