Local BJP leaders in Tiruchirappalli have demanded strict police action following the appearance of defamatory posters targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. District president K.K. Ondimuthu submitted a formal complaint to the city police commissioner, reporting that offensive materials were pasted near the party office and across various areas. The complaint alleges that these fabricated messages aim to ruin the Prime Minister’s reputation and disturb public harmony. Police are currently investigating the incident, reviewing locations, and working to identify the culprits behind this politically motivated act.
