A woman was caught red-handed stealing a BMTC bus conductor’s money bag. Pretending to be an ordinary passenger, she slyly hid the cash bag when the conductor was distracted. The alert conductor grew suspicious of her behavior, but the woman acted hysterically and tried to escape, claiming her husband was sick. However, responding female police officers searched her belongings and discovered the stolen money inside her bag. She was quickly arrested. This viral incident has prompted local police to warn daily commuters to stay highly vigilant against rising pickpocketing attempts by female thieves in crowded public buses.
