Supporters of former MP Sanganna Karadi have started a campaign suggesting his return to electoral politics in the 2028 Assembly elections. Posters carrying the message “I am ready, win in 2028” are being shared widely on social media. The campaign has increased discussions about Sanganna Karadi possibly contesting from the Koppal constituency once again. He has previously served as a four-time MLA and a two-time Lok Sabha member. Sanganna joined the Congress after the BJP denied him a ticket for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. At the time of joining, he was reportedly promised a position as a Member of the Legislative Council. However, the promise has not been fulfilled so far. Following this, his supporters have been demanding that he return to the Assembly elections. Reports suggest that efforts may also be underway for his possible candidature. The campaign has created fresh political interest in Koppal, with many watching Sanganna Karadi’s next move closely. His supporters believe his return could bring a new phase in local politics.
