CHALLAKERE
The health department organized a National Pulse Polio awareness rally to inform people about the upcoming campaign from June 29 to July 1, 2026. The march began near Valmiki Bhavan in Challakere town and moved through important areas to create public awareness about vaccination and child safety. A human chain was formed near Nehru Circle where participants shared messages encouraging families to give polio drops to children during the campaign days. Officials said the program aimed to improve participation and support efforts to protect children from polio through timely immunization
