N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said that Operation Sindoor sent a strong message to the world that India would never tolerate attacks on its soil and that any harm caused to Indian citizens would receive a firm response.
Marking the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister shared a message on X, describing the military operation as a symbol of India’s growing defence capabilities and determination to safeguard national security against every threat.
Naidu paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack and praised the Indian Armed Forces for delivering what he described as a befitting response through Operation Sindoor. He stated that the courage and sacrifice of security personnel continue to inspire the nation.
S. Abdul Nazeer also extended heartfelt salutations to the bravery, commitment, and dedication of India’s security forces. He said Operation Sindoor stood as a symbol of national pride, justice, and unwavering resolve against forces attempting to challenge the unity and sovereignty of the country.
According to the Governor, the operation served as a strong warning to enemies of the nation and highlighted the determination of India’s armed forces to defend the country under all circumstances. He further expressed gratitude to soldiers for their sacrifices and tireless service.
State Minister for Education and Information Technology Nara Lokesh also commemorated the anniversary by praising the armed forces for their courage, precision, and selfless service. In his social media post, Lokesh said the operation demonstrated India’s unwavering commitment to protecting its sovereignty and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
Lokesh additionally thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for what he described as calm and decisive leadership during a defining period for the nation. He stated that India remains united and strong in the face of security challenges.
Meanwhile, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also honoured the courage and determination of Indian soldiers. He said the anniversary of Operation Sindoor was an occasion to remember the fearless spirit and unwavering dedication of the armed forces, whose valour continues to inspire pride across the country.
Operation Sindoor is widely regarded as one of the significant military responses undertaken by India in recent years, and political leaders across party lines used the anniversary to reaffirm support for the armed forces and national security.
