Yadav vows support for MP traders

BURHANPUR

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sparked excitement in the business community by promising a new era of industrial growth for Madhya Pradesh.

Speaking at an “Entrepreneur Dialogue” in Burhanpur, he assured local traders and factory owners that the government is fully committed to removing hurdles and solving long-standing issues like electricity shortages and outdated laws.

The Chief Minister announced that 2025 has been officially designated as the “Year of Industry,” followed by 2026 as the “Year of Farmer Welfare.” To prove his commitment, he revealed that a new Trader Welfare Board has been approved to function at the district level. This board will act as a direct link between the government and businesses to ensure problems are addressed quickly. He also shared plans for a “Nimar Investors Summit” specifically designed to bring more money and jobs to the Burhanpur region.

In a major win for the local textile industry, Yadav said the government is working to make cotton duty-free. This move, along with a newly planned access road for better transport, is expected to make Burhanpur a true “gateway to development.” He emphasized that farmers and industrialists must grow together to strengthen the state’s economy.

By simplifying rules and listening directly to the people on the ground, the Chief Minister aims to create a supportive environment where startups and established businesses can thrive. “Our government stands with you in every situation,” he told the cheering crowd, signaling a bright future for the state’s workforce.
