Police officials conducted an awareness drive within their station limits to educate two-wheeler riders on the importance of wearing ISI-marked full helmets. The initiative aimed to promote road safety and ensure better compliance with traffic rules among commuters. As part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety, police personnel interacted with two-wheeler riders across key areas within the station jurisdiction. During the drive, riders were advised to wear full-face helmets that carry the ISI certification mark, which ensures adherence to safety standards and provides adequate protection in case of accidents. Officials explained that wearing substandard or half helmets significantly reduces the level of protection and increases the risk of serious head injuries during road mishaps.
