Assistant Director of the Department of Kannada and Culture, Karnakumar, stated that the teachings of Lord Mahavira continue to hold timeless relevance in today’s conflict-ridden world. He made these remarks during the celebrations of Mahavira Jayanti in Koppal on Tuesday. The event was organized at Ashoka Circle in Koppal city by the district administration, the Department of Kannada and Culture, and the Koppal City Municipal Council. Karnakumar inaugurated a procession as part of the Mahavira Jayanti celebrations and addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of philosophical teachings in addressing modern-day challenges. He emphasized that society today faces numerous social and moral issues, and such challenges can be effectively addressed through the wisdom and messages of great spiritual leaders.
