NEW DELHI
Tech giant Google opened doors for its 2026 “Startups Accelerator” in India. This three-month program is designed specifically to help homegrown artificial intelligence companies grow. The best part for young businesses? Google provides this high-level support without taking any ownership or “equity” in the startups.
The 2026 program is looking for teams working on the next big things in AI, such as “Physical AI” and specialized models built specifically for India’s unique challenges. Whether a startup is just starting with “Seed” funding or growing into “Series A,” they can apply until April 19. Those selected will get to work directly with Google’s most advanced tools, including Gemini and specialized chips designed for heavy data processing.
Participants won’t just get tools; they will get teachers. Experts from Google DeepMind, Cloud, and Android will provide one-on-one mentorship. The goal is to move beyond simple tech experiments and create real-world tools that change how industries work.
Previous success stories prove the program works. One past participant, Dview, saw its revenue jump four times, while another, AiSteth, created a smart stethoscope that has already screened 75,000 patients. From healthcare to climate change, these startups are solving big problems.
The journey begins this June with a week-long bootcamp in Bengaluru, the heart of India’s tech scene. It will wrap up in October with a “Demo Day,” where founders show off their progress to the world. It is a golden opportunity for India’s brightest minds to scale up.
