Young Indian shooter Samrat Rana delivered a stunning display of precision and composure to claim the men’s 10m air pistol gold at the ISSF World Championships. The 23-year-old from Karnal edged past fierce competition to etch his name on the world stage.

In a nail-biting final, Rana shot 243.7 to narrowly defeat China’s Hu Kai, who secured silver with 243.3. The contest kept spectators on the edge of their seats, as lead positions shifted multiple times between the top contenders.

India’s Varun Tomar, hailing from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, showcased remarkable skill to clinch the bronze with a score of 221.7. The podium finish highlighted India’s growing dominance in the sport, with both shooters demonstrating remarkable focus under immense pressure.
