The Bengaluru City Police marked Karnataka Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and pride at the RSI Cricket Ground today. The event was led by Commissioner of Police  Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, who was joined by senior police officers and staff to celebrate the state’s 70th formation day.

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Karnataka State Flag, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing reverence for Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage and linguistic identity. The Commissioner extended warm greetings to all police personnel and citizens, urging everyone to uphold the values of unity, service, and pride in Kannada culture.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances, including traditional dances and songs celebrating the state’s history and achievements. Police personnel, along with their families, joined in the collective rendition of the Nadageethe — Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate, filling the air with patriotic spirit and emotion.

The Bengaluru City Police’s Rajyotsava celebration served as a reminder of the force’s deep connection with the people and culture of Karnataka. The event concluded with a message of solidarity and commitment to maintaining peace, harmony, and civic pride across the city.
